Senior Project Lead (adidas) · North America
About the job
We’re looking for a Senior Project Lead to join our team and help lead the delivery of creative, social, campaign, and content projects for adidas US and other globally relevant lifestyle brands.
This role is focused on operational leadership, project delivery, creative workflow management, and cross-functional coordination across fast-moving creative and social projects.
We’re looking for someone highly organised, proactive, calm under pressure, and confident managing timelines, stakeholders, and multiple workstreams within a creative environment.
This is not a traditional PM role. The ideal person understands creative workflows, social content, campaigns, cultural marketing, and integrated delivery across multiple teams.
You’ll work closely with Creative Directors, Strategists, Designers, Producers, Social teams, and client stakeholders to help projects move efficiently from briefing through to delivery.
A strong interest in sport culture, particularly basketball, alongside fashion, creators, music, and internet culture is important.
This is a remote-first role, but candidates must be able to work consistently within West Coast (US) hours.
In this role, you'll
Lead day-to-day project management across campaigns, social content, toolkits, productions, activations, and integrated marketing projects
Own timelines, workbacks, trackers, approvals, deliverables, and overall project structure across multiple concurrent workstreams
Help teams move efficiently from briefing through to delivery while balancing timelines, creative ambition, client needs, and operational realities
Coordinate across Creative, Strategy, Production, Social, Accounts, freelance talent, and client teams to ensure strong alignment across projects
Lead internal and client communication including status updates, meeting notes, next steps, feedback management, and delivery tracking
Build and maintain schedules, rollout plans, dashboards, WBSs, trackers, and operational documentation across projects
Identify risks, blockers, resourcing gaps, or timeline challenges early and proactively help solve them before they impact delivery
Help improve internal workflows, systems, templates, and operational processes across the agency
Coordinate feedback rounds, approvals, asset tracking, versioning, and delivery workflows across multiple stakeholders and creative teams
Support social-first production thinking including BTS opportunities, creator-style formats, reactive content moments, and platform-native deliverables
Support reactive and fast-moving project needs around live sport, basketball, athlete, and cultural moments
Help coordinate social-first and platform-native content opportunities around campaigns, launches, athlete moments, and community activations
Help maintain strong client relationships through clear communication, responsiveness, organisation, and reliable delivery management
Operate comfortably within the pace of sport, fashion, culture, entertainment, and social-first creative environments where timelines and priorities can shift quickly
Requirements
Strong experience managing integrated creative, social, campaign, or content projects within an agency, brand, or creative environment
Excellent organisational and operational skills across timelines, communication, approvals, and delivery management
Strong understanding of creative, social, and post-production workflows
Ability to manage multiple fast-moving projects simultaneously
Strong communication skills and confidence working directly with clients
Comfortable working within remote-first and globally distributed teams
Highly proactive with strong ownership mentality and problem-solving instincts
Familiarity with tools such as Asana, Slack, Google Workspace, Frame.io, and Figma
Strong interest in sport, culture, fashion, creators, and social media
Bonus points for:
Experience working alongside Production and Post-production teams
Confidence working within shoot environments
Comfortable capturing social content on iPhone
